Supporters play a crucial role in enabling inHope to tackle homelessness and poverty in Bristol. Whether through volunteering, donating, praying or fundraising, inHope’s supporters are vital in sustaining the ministry of the charity.
InHope staff and trustees greatly value each and every supporter, without whom the ministry would not be able to provide food, shelter, support and hope for homeless and vulnerable people in Bristol.
To further develop the relationship between inHope and its supporters, we are setting up the inHope Supporter Forum. The forum will bring together a diverse and representative cross-section of supporters from different backgrounds, churches and geographical location.
Participants will increase inHope’s connection with supporters further, broaden supporter involvement in planning and developing the work of the Fundraising and Communications team and help to identify any ‘blind sports’ in the charity’s communications. All of this will help to ensure that inHope’s communication and fundraising activity is relevant, engaging, appropriate and inclusive for its different supporter groups.
The Supporter Forum will meet quarterly with inHope’s Fundraising and Communications team, initially using Zoom but including face to face meetings as social distancing guidelines allow.
