Sleep Out 2020 (home edition)!

Bristol Sleep Out 2020 (home edition)

Join Bristol’s first ever ‘home edition’ Sleep Out and raise funds to provide food and shelter for somebody facing homelessness in our city.  Due to Covid-19 the Bristol Homeless Forum is unable to host a mass-sleep out in the centre of Bristol, so 2020 will be a sleep out with a twist.

You can take part in this sponsored event, have fun and change the life of someone in Bristol who doesn’t have a place to call home.

All you need to do is to find a tricky spot to sleep in your garden or home, and sleep there on Friday 9th October.  It could be on top of some cardboard in your back garden?  Or in the cupboard under the stairs.  Or anywhere unusual or uncomfortable.

The bonus of a virtual event is that anyone can take part – individuals, families, workplaces, churches, schools or youth groups*

Start: Friday 9th October at 10pm (or earlier if you want to bed down earlier)
Finish: Saturday 10th October at 7am.

To take part and change someone’s life, REGISTER HERE NOW.

You will receive a registration pack, including details of how to fundraise, sponsorship forms, tips on keeping safe, warm and dry, and how to connect with everybody else who is raising funds and changing people’s lives.

*If government restrictions allow, churches, schools or workplaces may wish to organise their own mini event to raise funds for inHope.  In this case, we suggest that you restrict attendance to over-18s, or organise your own consent forms for under 18s.  We have a template risk assessment here that you can use and adapt for your own premises.
