Commuting all the way from the other side of the Lawrence Hill roundabout, Natalie is one of a handful of local employees. Having come from the area and lived here on and off all her life (with occasions of living in London, as far as Ibiza, and even in Bedminster) she is glad to be involved in a charity whose projects help those so close to home alongside those who come to the area needing support.
From a background of working in banking & local government, and training and living at yoga centres, she moved into the charity sector and helped organise the Caring at Christmas project in 2015. Alongside this she has volunteered for the East Bristol Foodbank since August 2015, where she can still be found most Wednesdays evenings processing our donations by sorting the baked beans from the rice puddings ready to go to our Foodbank outlets.
In her spare time she likes thinking about going to the gym, aims to meditate every day, and occasionally puts her iPad down long enough to go for a walk, visit a parish church, or do her favourite – a Wetherspoons’ Thursday Curry Club*.
